Benefits of Indian Air Force Agniveer (Agnipath) :
- Indian youth who are between the age of 17.5 to 21 years can apply in this Agneepath Yojana.
- Agneepath will allow youth to serve in the armed forces for a period of four years.
- LIC (Life Insurance): Firefighters will be provided with a life insurance cover of Rs. 48 lakhs for the duration of his engagement as an Agniveer in the Indian Air Force.
- Skill Certificate of Agniveer: Skill-group certificate will be issued to Agniveer by Indian Air Force after completion of time period.
- Leave: Annual: 30 days, sick leave. Based on medical advice.
- This Agneepath Yojana will benefit someone every year.

Educational Qualification for Firefighter Recruitment
- Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in Class 12 or equivalent and 50% marks in English. Or
- 3 years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) with minimum 50% marks in English and 50% marks in Diploma Course OR
- 2 years business course with non-vocational subject physics and mathematics from any recognized board with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- 10+2 Intermediate with minimum 50% marks and 50% marks in English. Or
- 2 years vocational course with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% marks in English.
